Is there a dress code?

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible at our wedding, so put on anything that makes you feel good!

Any idea what the weather’s going to be like?

Well, we do know it’s going to be the middle of Springtime in Victoria. What we won’t know is if it’ll be sunny or chilly. Melbourne weather is notoriously unpredictable, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that Spring brings a little bit of warmth. 

How do I get to the venue?

For those who prefer to drive to Yarra Ranges Estate, there is free open-air parking at the venue itself.

For those who prefer not to drive, we’ll be chartering a bus to get everyone to and from the venue on Friday. We’ll provide more information closer to the wedding date. Yarra Ranges Estate is about 60 mins away from the Melbourne CBD, and the journey there is rather lovely (especially if you like looking at rolling hills and herds of cows).

Is the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Yes, it is. We also have the entire venue to ourselves for the day, so you can dance like no one is watching. Literally.

We don’t know what present to get for you!  

You know that quote about how your presence is the present? It’s cheesy, but it is true. However, if you do feel like contributing to our travel fund, we would love to start our new chapter with more meals around the world.

We are out-of-town-ers and staying in Melbourne for the weekend. What’s a good area to stay in?

Firstly, we hope your stay will convince you that Melbourne is indeed the best state. Secondly, Melbourne's pretty compact, so you can't go too wrong. The CBD is well-connected and full of great places to eat and charming laneways to explore. South Melbourne is home to our favourite market and food spots. Fitzroy and Collingwood are also worth spending a day in. Or if you want to have a weekend of wine tasting and nature, there are nice places to stay in the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.
